Bengaluru-based wealthtech startup Stable Money has raised $25 million (around ₹226.8 crore) in a Pre-Series C funding round led by Peak XV Partners, signaling growing investor confidence in low-risk investment platforms.

Founded in 2022 by Saurabh Jain and Harish Reddy, Stable Money is positioning itself differently in India’s crowded fintech space. Instead of chasing high-risk, high-return equity trading, the platform focuses on fixed-income assets, a segment that aligns closely with India’s traditionally conservative investors.

A Different Bet in a Risky Market

While many investment apps prioritize stocks and mutual funds, Stable Money is building its ecosystem around Fixed Deposits, bonds, and debt instruments. Its core promise is straightforward: stable, predictable returns with lower risk exposure.

At a time when market volatility concerns retail investors, this approach is gaining traction among users seeking safer alternatives.

Marketplace Model Driving Growth

The platform currently partners with 13 banks and NBFCs, allowing users to compare FD rates and invest seamlessly without opening multiple accounts. The company plans to onboard seven more financial institutions by the end of the year, expanding its offering and reach.

This aggregator-style model simplifies access to fixed-return products, making it easier for users to diversify within low-risk categories.

What the Funding Means

The fresh capital will be used to scale marketing efforts, launch new wealth management features, strengthen partnerships in the bond ecosystem, and expand product offerings in fixed-income assets.

The funding round also saw participation from existing investors, including Z47 (Matrix Partners India), RTP Global, Lightspeed, and Fundamentum Partnership.

Why This Matters

Stable Money’s growth highlights a clear shift in India’s fintech landscape. While equity investing platforms dominate headlines, a large segment of users still prioritizes capital protection over aggressive growth.

By focusing on this underserved audience, Stable Money is tapping into a massive opportunity and could become a go-to platform for safe investing in India.
